We Need You More Than Ever

First Lady Brandie Cottrill's message from Wednesday, December 17th 2025

This powerful message centers on a profound truth: the body of Christ needs every single one of us, right now, more than ever before. Using the imagery of a puzzle, we're reminded that each piece matters—when even one is missing, the picture remains incomplete. Drawing from Romans 12:4-6 and Ephesians 4:4-16, we discover that we are not just similar to a body, we ARE a body, with different members serving different functions, all essential to the whole. The message challenges men to step up as spiritual leaders with their 'compass'—God's Word—guiding their families with Joshua's declaration: 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.' Women are called to honor and reflect Christ's love through submission and encouragement, becoming mirrors of divine grace. Children are reminded they're never too young for faith, for the Holy Ghost, for baptism—Acts 2:39 promises these gifts to them too. This isn't a call to casual Christianity but to spiritual warfare, putting on the full armor of God from Ephesians 6:11. The enemy wants to disconnect, distract, and discourage us, whispering lies that we're not needed, not gifted enough, not spiritual enough. But the truth rings clear: we cannot afford to be lukewarm or casual anymore. We're living in shaken times, which means it's time for the church to arise, not retreat. Every prayer, every act of service, every moment of worship matters because we're completing a divine picture together.
